4 New Garden Room Designs Coming For 2018
Don’t forget if you can sketch it we can probably make it, if you have a picture of something you want at your home, company or for a business opportunity send it in. Think big and bold – pop up restaurant, bed and breakfast, hospitality room, classroom or office addition. It’s a challenge and vision – and that’s Cre8a. That is what we do.
Our first offering and the design that all the modular and bespoke designed garden rooms on the market have. A pent roof can overhang, the doors can be set back giving a modern look. A cut out corner can add that ‘under cover’ outside area or a nice deck and fence for a private addition.
This can come in any colour, design or even a right angled shape for those corner gardens. Fantastic for an entertaining area. It was our launch model and first sales and we are proud of the difference you get with our great cladding to really bring to life a traditional build and design. Always a good choice – limitless uses, sizes and designs.
The Lincolnshire Gable
We incorporated two designs with this model – an old Lincolnshire Long House design and a modern glazed gable frame. A twist of old Saxon and modern lodge. This one we anticipate will be a one or even two bed accommodation unit with a separate bathroom.
A kitchenette sits well in the good sized open plan room and the French doors leading onto a small deck will add that Luxury Lodge feeling that will stand out on a site, in a field or alongside your house. Done in one of the wood designs from our external cladding range such as Creek or Tyrol pine this one will really stand out from the crowd.
This model could be a lot squarer than the Lodge type, and we recommend it with a flat roof and glazed cupolas (roof light), a glass corner (or two!) and would be great in the gloss versions of our fabulous designer range of Fundermax in a random panel design. Think modern contemporary style and would grace any architect as his home office. Hospitality suite or information community unit – the list grows. You’ll feel great sat in this environment – just add clients! A sure winner.
Those of us who are keen walkers, bikers, motorcyclists and passing tourist will know that getting good, clean and welcoming accommodation up the West Coast of Scotland or High in the Brecon Beacons is a bit of a challenge. However, this model, designed to replicate an old hill farmers Croft, slated roof, Fundermax designed granite walls, a log burning stove and nice open room – well we’d be booking that place today! A great bed and breakfast design or a fantastic annexe in your grounds, additional hotel room at the pub or even commercial space at offices – it has that wow factor for them all.
The ‘Beachcomber’ is a similar style to the Lodge but with the pent roof cut back and a single cross member and post added for that ‘egg’ swing or hammock to be attached- true castaway image. We recommend it supplied in the ‘distressed’ and light look in our Antique cladding, with blue Georgian design windows and French doors with colonial shutters in blue to the sides of both. Think Caribbean. Add that extra deck and an outside table and all you're missing is the sea!
